Encore Begins EMR Implementation in South Texas

Houston, TX (PRWEB) April 7, 2010 -- Encore Health Resources has been selected to provide project management, consulting and advisory services for Doctors Hospital at Renaissance (DHR) for their implementation of Cerner's Millennium EMR clinical solution.

DHR's implementation of Cerner to manage patient, health plan and materials information for clinical, financial and operational purposes will achieve "meaningful use" as defined in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) and is projected to go live by the September 20, 2010, ARRA deadline.

Encore will provide consulting services through DHR's scheduled go-live and will stay on to assist with go-live support, followed by system stabilization and optimization. Encore's turnkey approach includes services for promoting clinician adoption of advanced clinical technologies and CPOE, as well as for training the staff to use the software.
